In case you missed it...

On Sunday, September 4th, I hosted the first "Open Lines" episode of my new live talk-radio show, The Angelic View. A few days before the show, I kept getting an intuitive hunch that the show might not run smoothly. I wasn't clear on why this might be, but I knew I felt uneasy. I wasn't feeling uneasy because I was planning to do a live broadcast. Even though this is a new show, I've hosted live talk-radio shows since 2012.

It didn't take long for me to find out why I was getting this uneasy feeling...

A little over an hour before the show was to air live, my guest cohost, Dax, messaged me to let me know that he was feeling unwell and would not be able to do the show with me. This meant that I would have to run the entire show solo - something I had not done in about three years. There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes in running a live talk-radio show online. I wasn't sure if I was ready to handle all of that by myself.

To make a long story short, I decided to go ahead with the broadcast and run the show solo. I did experience a couple of minor technical hiccups, but overall, it went well. I was glad that I did not have to disappoint the callers who called in for free mini-readings. The switchboard was full and I was able to get to most of the calls.
